This is something I hope Mike will chime in on. I know on several forums I watch, lots of people think those of us that hear a difference in quality cables are nuts. Those that feel that way can get rather rude at times and say we are totally off our rockers. With that being said: Can someone explain the actual science in a quality cable or interconnect/ compared to say a standard lamp cord or other cheap alternatives? What "scientifically" does a quality cable do/ and HOW does it do it compared to a cheap cable? Personally, I know I hear a difference, and others do too. It just bugs me that so many in this hobby say I'm nuts about this.
