I'm the type of guy that is hard pressed to spend bucko bucks on cables. I wanted something better than run of the mill and read many good things about the Morrow cables. They were right in my wheelhouse as far as price so I said what the hell and purchased a pair of ma1, ma1.1 and ph2 . They did not break the bank and after the incredibly painfull break in period I was blown away by how everything just seemed to come together and sound just right. A little while latter I purchased a pair of sp3 speaker cables and the magic just continued. The ph2 took the longest to reach full potential. I broke them in for about 200 hours with my cd player and they still took about 100 more hours before they mellowed and jelled. I am a believer in Mike's cables and will purchase no other brand. Thank's for such a great product, service and now forum.

I'm gonna suggest them to a couple of friends I thinks they will appreciate just for the same reasons as yours, oh and being Yorkshiremen they are very thrifty. :D

All of the Morow line is great. You are right about the break in time. I had the 5 day done on my SP6 wires. Still took several more weeks to really shine. I do have a couple of other hand made cables that are solid silver wire. Nice cables and almost no break in. Not sure why, but that is what happened.

Ph cables are hard to burn in because of the low voltage going thru them.MC carts may take 500 hrs to get there.Hang in there.

Actually very easy to burn in. Hook them up to a CD player on repeat for a week. Then put them back into your turntable. Burn in done, except for a day or two to settle in.

True. My bad. I have RCA's on my TT, and wasn't thinking.
