PH5's really opened up my Rega p3 turntable.

Rega has soldered power & connects, so using a single-tube Bellamy amp inbetween really helped. My fronts are active so using mono blocks would be a waste of $$. Even though used, these cables continue to sound better & better.

I have a Pro-Ject Debut III in my basement system. It has soldered connections. I bought the PH4 cables with nude wires on one end and had my dealer solder them to the table. Worked great and sounds even better.

I thought about doing that. Youtube shows a British chap dismantling a Rega p3 to remove cables & power cord, then resolders his upgrade. More then I want to do now, but interesting.

If you have a dealer in your area they should be able to do it for you. Cost me about 50 dollars to do and well worth it.
