Finally decided to rip all my cd's to a dedicated laptop. So the fun begins.
Ripped about 70 CD's yesterday. Now 800 or so to go
So how do you think the sound will be from the lap top, compared to a dedicated CD player?
I am mainly doing this as a way to listen to music without the need to hunt through all my CD's to find one to listen to. The sound quality is OK. Mainly just back ground music like Pandora.
Got about 250 CD's done between last weekend and today only 700ish to go. I didn't know that I had this many.
You're going to have to retire to finish all of them.
Over the 400 mark this is crazy! I didn't realize I had this many CD's.
Keep it up. You'll be done by Christmas.
Playing the files from the laptop is terrible. You'll definitely need a dedicated DAC.
I will be using a Schitt modi 2 uber dac from a dedicated Dell.
